A NEW mini golf experience in Camden Town is opening its door to families this Easter.
Instead of hunting for Easter eggs or stuffing your face with chocolate, families and groups of friends are being invited to take a swing at a crazy golf course in Camden Market for an alternative experience this bank holiday.
Junkyard Golf opened in Stables Market, at the former Shaka Zulu restaurant site, last August with four nine-hole mini golf courses. Splashed in neon paint and each with a unique theme, golfers can expect a host of whacky obstacles to overcome, including grizzly bears, volcanoes, and pirate pigs. Also on the menu is a choice of 20 cocktails – some served from a disco ball – pizza twists, nachos and vegan food.

The brand has outlets across the UK, including Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle and Oxford, but Camden is its biggest venue yet, with £2 million being invested in the branch.
Alongside its “mashed up” courses, guests can hang out in a chill out area, go to one of its four bars or play on an entire wall of classic arcade games.
A spokesperson said: “From challenging courses to mind-boggling holes, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, regardless of age or skill level.
“Whether you’re a mini-golf pro or a first-time player, Junkyard Golf Club promises an Easter experience like no other. So why not switch things up this year and treat your kids to a day they’ll never forget?”
