THE weather was the only winner on Saturday as rain stopped play in the Middlesex County Cricket League.

Clubs will be hoping for better fortunes with the fixtures this weekend, with Premier Division leaders North Middlesex due to host fourth-placed Teddington at their Park Road ground in Crouch End.

Hampstead could also impact the title race as they travel to third-placed Ealing, while Brondesbury, who are second in the table, will be expected to take maximum points from their trip to bottom-placed Twickenham.

Weather permitting, all games are expected to get underway at 11am.
