JONAS Eidevall admits Arsenal need to be more efficient if they’re going to stop squandering points in the Women’s Super League.

The Gunners thought they had snatched a late win against Everton on Sunday when Alessia Russo struck from close range with a little over 10 minutes left on the clock.

But 16-year-old substitute Issy Hobson sent the home fans wild at Walton Hall Park when she headed home from a corner deep into injury-time.

Reflecting on the disappointing 1-1 draw, Eidevall said he felt his side “created enough to win the game”.

He added: “In order to get better results we need to be more effective in the chances that we create. You can see with the way that Everton played, they defended with a lot of players. They defend with a lot of intensity, so the margin for error and the margin for success is very thin. Today there were too many times, especially in the first half, where it’s the right weight of pass but not the right timing of the run, and vice versa.”
