EUSTON will play host to clowns, theatre performances and a “bubbleologist” as part of a day festival this weekend.

Camden People’s Theatre (CPT) is running a free arts festival in Tolmers Square on Saturday between 3.30pm and 6.30pm.

Fire performer Dave Williams, clown Julia Masli and the theatre group Emergency Chorus are all billed to perform on the day, along with Maxwell the Bubbleologist. Members of Little Bean Theatre, a Cantonese children’s theatre, will also be performing, as will the hip-hop theatre collective Beats and Elements.

The day will be hosted by beatboxer Conrad Murray.

Audience members will be invited to join special “try-it-out” sessions offering the chance to learn to beatbox and try out clowning. There will be free food, drink, games, music and face painting. CPT is running a photo competition to win free theatre tickets, challenging audience members to photograph their favourite moment of the day.

Seats will be available around the square, while residents living nearby are invited to watch from their windows and balconies. There will be wheelchair access and a BSL interpreter on hand.

“This will be a true celebration of culture and coming together,” the theatre said.

Any questions can be directed to CPT’s Bex Gordon via email on bex@cptheatre.co.uk.
