The Strokes, who play All Points East on Friday

FROM the countless clips on social media, the deluge that caught Stormzy’s fans during Blinded By Your Grace at All Points East festival last Friday could have been arranged with the heavens… APE continues this weekend with another incredible bank holiday line-up including The Strokes + Yeah Yeah Yeahs + Amyl & The Sniffers (Aug 25); Jungle + Erykah Badu + Raye + Gabriels (Aug 26); Dermot Kennedy + Olivia Dean + Sg Lewis (Aug 27) and Haim + Confidence Man + Girl In red – plus many, many more. Over at Notting Hill, Carnival will be packed with the usual selection of banging sound systems including old faves Channel One Sound System and plenty of surprise appearances – keep an eye out for announcements.

If that’s not enough, celebrate 50 years of hip hop culture at Inverness Street’s Bloc Party on Saturday (Aug 26) with DJs from Dig It Sound System plus spoken word, DJs and dance ft DJ Matt White, Sarah Love and DJ 279 (12pm-7pm).
