THE popular pub cat at McGlynn’s in King’s Cross has died, leaving punters and staff bereft.

Landlord Gerry told me: “I fed her Wednesday night, she was a bit wobbly on the back legs like … but she had the last laugh.

“I couldn’t find her Thursday, we were looking everywhere. Then I found her in the cat box, the one she’d go to the vet in. You couldn’t get her into it normally for the vet – she’d run away like.

“There she was, her wee head looking out as if she was asleep.”

RIP Jacqueline.
