KING’S Cross and Euston is turning black and white today (Saturday) with the arrival of thousands of Newcastle United supporters in town for the Carabao Cup Final.

The fans have already begun pouring into the city ahead of tomorrow’s (Sunday’s) match at Wembley with Manchester United.

Many are heading straight to Trafalgsar Square but pubs around King’s Cross have been marked by fans as a ‘Geordie village’ meeting point.

And inevitably this has meant they have come across the filming in Woburn Place and Duke’s Road for a Netflix programme codenamed ‘Hampstead‘ but understood to actually be scenes for the hit series Bridgerton.

Crews could hear shouts of ‘Toon Army, Toon Army’ as they prepared for a second day of filming. The street has been carefully dressed with period features and yesterday (Friday) a horse drawn carriage was driven through.
