The worlds of Film and English make an exciting combination – there is much intellectual common ground on issues such as authorship, genre, identity and representation – and there is a great deal of cross-over when film adaptations are made from English Literature. You will develop skills and knowledge relevant to both film and literature but also a fuller understanding of the different aesthetic, commercial and consumption issues they raise.
