A MAN who was killed after a collision in Euston Road has yet to be formally identified three weeks later.

Police this week said they now believe they know who the man in his 30s was and are trying to contact relatives overseas.

There had been suspicions from people in the area that he may have been a rough sleeper.

The man was walking in the road before the collision at the junction of Euston Road and Pancras Road on July 28.

He was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with severe injuries but died a short time later.

No arrests have been made and the driver stopped at the scene.
