FAMOUS faces have had their first look at how a hilarious animator and puppeteer has portrayed them in his “Jewish Hall of Fame”.

Zoom Rockman’s interactive exhibition at the JW3 Centre –previewed in the  last month – had a gala opening on Monday evening with guests including David Baddiel, Vanessa Feltz and the writer Jonathan Freedland.

The works have been described as having an “end of the pier” feel with mechanical versions of the celebrities providing visitors with Lord Alan Sugar running a bagel shop, Dame Maureen Lipman fortune telling with a crystal ball and Mr Baddiel juggling.

There are many more to meet inside and the seaside nature will soon be accompanied by the summer season beach. The exhibition can be viewed until September 3.
