Camden Town are aiming to keep moving up the Greater London Women’s League’s Premier Division

PLAYERS from Camden Town WFC ended 2023 on a high on Sunday after netting a 1-0 away win against Hammersmith in the Greater London Women’s League.

Saffron Jones scored what proved to be the winner in the second half, taking her tally to seven goals in six games.

Looking beyond a well-deserved winter break for the players, Town chairman Richard Mahoney said: “We have all to play for as we head into 2024 with League Cup and County Cup fixtures scheduled for January, as well as our ambitions to finish as high up the Premier Division table as possible.”
