WITH the business end of the season in full swing, there is no shortage of silverware celebrations.

Among the clubs who have been basking in glory are The Gun pub, who came from a goal down to beat rivals Hackney Wednesday in the final of the Camden Sunday League Senior Cup at Hackney Marshes.

Fergus McIntosh fired Wednesday into a half-time lead, but Steve Gray came off the bench in the second half to score twice in quick succession and turn the game around.

The supersub then capped a man-of-the-match performance by setting up Jake McCormick for a third as The Gun sealed a memorable 3-1 victory to ensure their first season in the Camden Sunday League ends in triumph.

And the celebrations might not end there. The Gun are currently leading the way at the top of the Division One table, and with games in hand over their chasing rivals, a league and cup double could very well be on the cards.
