Kentish Town FC beat FCE Crouch End FC 4-1 in the quarter-finals

PLAYERS from Kentish Town FC were all smiles on Saturday after they edged a step closer to retaining the Regent’s Park Youth League Cup.

The Under-10s side were in formidable form as they wrapped up a 4-1 victory against FCE Crouch End FC in the quarter-finals.

Centre-back Arthur Souster-Murphy opened the scoring in the first minute of the game when he curled the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box. Jason Mayanda then burst though on goal and slotted home to double Town’s advantage.

Crouch End pulled a goal back, but Oscar Heeley managed to get on the end of a rebound to make it 3-1, before captain Tommy Deller put the game to bed with his first goal of the season.

Town will now face Regent’s Park Rebels in the semi-final as they look to successfully defend the cup they won as Under-9s last season.
