Robert Peston on lead vocals, singing Teenage Kicks

ITV’s political editor Robert Peston and former Labour chancellor Ed Balls swapped politics for rock n roll at a street party in Dartmouth Park on Sunday.

Ed Miliband was amongst the crowd bopping along to the band, Centrist Dads, on a stage at the annual York Rise Street Party.

Peston took on main vocals, while Balls bashed the drums. John Wilson, the presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Front Row, featured on guitar.
